When I first heard about the coronavirus, I thought back to an exaggerated meteorology report in the winter. I heard the commotion of my town, “it will snow 2 feet, the schools will be closed, the roads will be dangerous to drive on!”

For most, the COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the lives we once had. Social distancing and isolation is the new norm as the world is continuously being impacted by the coronavirus. March 13 was the last day I would physically spend in school indefinitely.

The National Quality Improvement Center for Adoption and Guardianship Support and Preservation (QIC-AG) is a five-year cooperative agreement, funded through the Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, Children’s Bureau, designed to promote permanence when reunification is no longer a goal and improve adoption and guardianship preservation and support.
