Former Foster and Homeless Youth Address How Their Experiences Impacted Their Pursuit of Higher Education

Please join Fostering Media Connections at 1 p.m. Pacific on Nov. 13 as we provide an open space for current and former foster youth to speak about homelessness and higher education.

Raquel Wilson, who leads Fostering Media Connection’s Youth Voice Program, will lead the discussion alongside two of our very own Youth Voice Contributors, Tatiana Lemire and Ivory Bennett, all of whom have experienced foster care and homelessness. We also welcome Dr. Kizzy Lopez, who has worked in higher education for 13 years.
