Tawanna Brown

Tawanna Brown is a 22-year-old power house advocate, mentor, certified youth specialist, coach and motivational speaker. She is also a recent graduate from Seton Hall University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Africana Studies and Political Science. She is the current Arthur Gochman Fellow with the Advocacy and Policy team at Children’s Rights. She is also a proud member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Her message is, “if your dreams don’t scare you – you aren’t dreaming big enough.” During her spare time, she loves travel, eat and shop but most importantly, she loves empowering the youth, and reminding them that they are destined and capable of recreating their story.
